Determining the categoryid

When using Advanced Logic or Visibility Condition, you may wish to restrict based on the category ID of the current user's organization.

The syntax of the conditional statements refers to the categoryid, which is the system's numerical value associated with each category. Categories are to organizations in SmartSimple what roles are to users/contacts.

In order to determine the categoryid:

• Open the profile page for an organization that has the relevant category.
• Hover your cursor over the relevant category:

A message will display at the bottom left of the page containing the category ID.
