Password Policy

The Password Policy is used to control the length and complexity of passwords, password expiration and history, the number of retries that the user is allowed, and the lockout time for the account if they exceed the number of retries. Click here for detailed information.

Web Alias

The web alias defines the prefix to your copy of SmartSimple

• The Web Alias should be set before other users begin to use the system.
• If the alias is changed, any users attempting to access SmartSimple using the old alias will get an invalid session error when they attempt to login.

For security reasons, SmartSimple will never indicate whether or not an alias is valid when you try to log in.
