The Application ID (or appid) is the system's unique numerical value associated with each Universal Tracking Application


In order to determine the Application ID:

  • Right-click on the link to the relevant UTA in the left menu and select Properties
  • At the end of the address displayed it will list the Application ID.
Note: Firefox has removed the Properties link in newer versions of their browser. Instead select Copy Link Location, and then paste the text into either MS Word or Notepad to view the link.


From within the Universal Tracking Application you can obtain the application ID using the following variable:

  • @apptype@
