Don't use '''BR''' tags to create visual space. Wrap your text in a '''P''' tag or a block level element such as a '''DIV''' and add a class or style if needed to control the visual space. The only appropriate place to use a '''BR''' tag would be for poetry, song lyrics and arguably address fields. When a screen reader encounters a '''BR''' tag it will stop reading, requiring the user to move forward to the next line manually.
