Importing External Contacts

2. [[External]] contacts cannot be imported to the root organization. Therefore, when you attempt to import contacts to the root, you will only be able to select 'import user' and only the [[User|user]] custom fields will be displayed if there are any. Hence, an organization must exist at a lower level in the external [[Hierarchy|hierarchy]] order for the “import contacts” option to appear on the [[Menu|menu]] and the [[Custom Field|custom fields]] associated with the contacts will appear as well.
