General Description

You can access SmartSimple Calendars from the Communications Menu and create Calendars by clicking the New Calendar link.

By default, every user has a Calendar called My Calendar.

General Settings

To change the settings of a Calendar click on the Settings tab and then click on the Edit button.

Name is the name of your Calendar

Description is the description of your Calendar

Internet Enabled can be checked to be accessible to a community outside of the SmartSimple system.

There is also the ability to add Custom Fields to the Posts/Replies by clicking the Custom Fields link.

A Workflow can also be triggered from the Calendar by creating a Workflow and selecting it in the Workflow dropdown on the Calendars settings page.

You can also set read and write permissions to Calendars by Role and Company.

Adding a New Event to a Calendar

To add a new event to a Calendar click on the three periods link (...) this will open a new activity Event form.

Activity - Event

Activity Type can be an Event or Task Calendar is which Calendar to add the Event. Subject is the subject of the Calendar. Event Type is the type of Event (e.g. Phone Call, Conference, Interview) Event Status is the status for the Event (Tentative, Confirmed, Completed, Cancelled) Phone is the phone number. Start Date is the start date of the Event. End Date is the end date of the Event. Start Time is the start time of the Event. End Time is the end time of the Event, this has a timer feature which an be activated by clicking the timer icon. Whole Day Event is a checkbox which can be ticked if it is a whole day Event. Entered By is who entered the Event.
