Sign Up Organisation
Each Sign up page, either company OR contact is associated with a level in the organisation hierarchy – internal or [[External|external, depending on the sign up requirement and will be stored under that organisation.
This can be a real organisation if you are signing up users from that organisation, or an artificial organisation such as “Newsletter Subscribers”, if you are signing up people to receive a newsletter.
- A Company signup page can be associated with a company category.
- A Contact signup page is always associated with one or more user roles.
Creating the Sign-up Organisation
Next you will create an organisation and the characteristics for the sign up page.
1. Click the Organisation, External menu.
2. Click the New Account tab.
The Duplicate check page is displayed.
3. Set the name.
4. Click the Submit button.
You do not need to set any of the other values.
5. Click the Save button.
The company record is saved and the menu displayed.
6. Click the Settings menu.
There are two menu options associated with Signup feature:
- Contact Signup – No this indicates that no contact signup page exists.
- Account Signup – No this indicates that no company signup page exists.
