Overview

Transport Layer Security (TLS) – a widely used method for encrypting information between a browser and a web server. Before a client and server can begin to exchange information protected by TLS, they must securely exchange or agree upon an encryption key and a cipher to use when encrypting data. Email sent from SmartSimple can be set to use TLS encryption (see Setting up an Email Account).

Supported Versions

  • TLS1.0
  • TLS1.1
  • TLS1.2
