__TOC__

Although Transactions are normally only attached to contact records, they can be enabled within a UTA to allow them to be associated with {{l1}} or {{l2}} entities.

This feature is generally only used when a person’s activity, such as a certification or a degree, needs to be attributed back to a grant.

To enable the ability to access and add Transactions to the {{l1}} or {{l2}} records in a UTA requires that:
* Transaction Standard fields are enabled
* UTA Transaction Settings have been enabled
* UTA Type Settings specific to Transactions have been configured as required
=Transaction Standard fields=
Transactions Standard Field, once enabled, will provide access to a list of Transactions enabled against individual {{l1}} and {{l2}} records.
The {{l1}} Transaction Standard field settings also controls control visibility of the overall Transactions tab visible from the overall UTA view.
The Transaction Settings, found on Connectivity tab within UTA Settings, consists of several sections.
