Skill Searching in Applicant Tracking

The final type of searching is skill searching. Using this technique requires that you have established a competency model and that applicants have completed a skill profile.

1. Click the Skills tab.

To use skill searching, first select the category, then the skill, and finally the measure (if the category is measured in more than one way).

2. Select Sales as the category.

3. Select Strategic Selling as the skill.

4. Select Excellence as the measure type.

One applicant is displayed.

If the “Search within result” check box is enabled the result will look as shown below.

The Travel and Availability columns are taken from the custom fields, and the Strategic Sales column is taken from the skill profile.
