Not all Level 1 templates types may require all the same [[statuses]]. Although the [[statuses]] are created globally, you are able to associate only the required [[statuses]] to each individual templatetype.

You can also navigate into the [[Status#Status_Settings|Status Settings]] then populate the '''Enabled on Level 1 TemplatesTypes''' field with the templates types you wish to make the status available against.
