The feature works as follows:
* Any MS Word document can be used. * You can use a normal Word document (.doc or .docxfile extensions), or you can use Word templates template (.dot or .dotxfile extensions)can be used.* You must first create a Word document which includes field which will fields to be populated by SmartSimple. Each Word field must be provided with a name (called a ''Bookmark'' in MS Word).
* The Word document is then uploaded to a [[SmartFolder]].
* The MS Word Merge custom field will then be created, which will include field mapping, matching SmartSimple fields to the fields in the Word document.
