Flexible Status based security allows you to configure [[UTA role]]-based permissions to allow different users the ability to view or add annotations to fields while others the ability to edit the field value.
With Field Revision Annotations, you can create notes against an application field and make edits to these fields while keeping the rest of the application locked. This offers you an additional communications vehicle for both internal and external contacts.
