* HCAI, or the Health Claims for Auto Insurance project, is a new system developed in cooperation between a number of organizations, including FSCO and Ontario auto insurers, to automate the exchange of standardized health claim information between health care providers and insurance companies and to standardize health claim information.
* Because this is in part an initiative of the Provincial Government, HCAI has been mandated by new legislation, and is to be used for all form submissions by February 1, 2008. This is required from all health-care facilities, clinics, and businesses who have involvement with auto injuries.
* SmartSimple PMS - is SmartSimple's proven Practice Management System used by OT and IME companies. The system has been in use in Ontario for the last four years. The SmartSimple PMS offers an enormous amount of organization, efficiency, and data collection for your facility - at a reasonable price tag that will match the functions you need to run your business. We believe that we are only one of two PMS vendors that are integrating with the HCAI system.

A service named: SmartSimple HCAI Gateway has been created to handle requests from various SmartSimple servers.
