<li>When the user logs in and closes the [[browser]] or [[navigate]]s to another page (no [[session timeoutSession Timeout]] is set) - the system automatically counts the session time as four hours.</li><li>When the user logs in and closes the browser or navigates to another page (session timeout [[Session Timeout]] is set) - the system calculates the session time as the actual usage plus the session timeout time. For example, if I am logged in for four hours and close my browser, with a session timeout of seven minutes, my session time is four hours and seven minutes.</li>
<li>When the user logs in and closes the browser or navigates to another page ([[Enable Logout]] is set) - the session terminates and session time is their actual time.</li>
<li>When the user logs in and closes the browser or navigates to another page ([[Enable Logout]] is set with [[Timeout Alert|enable warning message]]) - the user receives a pop up asking them to log in if they would like to continue using the system. If there is no response (the message is ignored for 30 seconds), the session is terminated and session time is calculated as actual usage.</li>
