Creating a Referral

Referrals are created using the Referrals tab within the Referral Tracking application.

Once you have created the basic referral, you then add the assessments to complete the referral.

1. Click the Referral Tracking, Referrals tab.

2. Click the New Referral tab.

The new referral window is displayed.

This window contains the following standard referral fields:

  • Type - The referral template associated with this referral.
  • Client - Name of customer associated with referral – generally this will be the insurance company office. Click the Lookup button to display the client list.
  • Referral Status - Stage or status for referral – selected from combo box.
  • Start Date - Start date of the referral – set to the current date.
  • End Date - Target end date – initially set to current date.
  • Taken by - Name of person entering the referral. This will default to the current user.
  • Last Updated - When the details of the referral are changed this date is updated.
