Schedule Settings

  1. Existing Autoloaders and Archive Schedules are automatically migrated except for the Start Schedule From field. When user goes into an existing configuration, the previous schedule will be converted into the new schedule settings and they will be prompted to enter the Start Date upon saving.
  2. Existing Report Export will require the user to use toggle to select and use the new scheduler. The toggle button will disappear once it has been resaved and converted into the new scheduler.
  3. Schedules are run at server time. If user settings have a different time zone from the server time zone, the Next Schedule Run time will display both time zones.
  4. If chosen schedule is every month on the 31st @5pm, all other months without 31 will run on the last day of the month i.e. Feb 28, April 30.  The date will be shown o the Next Scheduled Run date.
  5. When setting up schedules, multiple days and hours are allowed.
  6. For Frequency = Custom, you can enter days apart (integer) but can only select specific hour to run.  The calculation of the next scheduled run is based on the availability of Start Date, Next Scheduled Run and Last Run dates i.e. If you are modifying a schedule which already have a Next Schedule Run date set up in the future, but Start Date is in the past, calculation will be different. So you will have to double check the Next Schedule Run date after you save the settings.
  7. Datepicker of Start Schedule From date field will only allow today and future dates.

Missed Runs

  • New Scheduler will take into account missed runs (If Next Scheduled Run is available). i.e. CASE#1:  If the Next Scheduled Run date for the Autoloader is 2021-08-29 11:00 AM, but Autoloader or Gort was stuck at this time and service resumes at 2021-08-29 14:15, then Scheduler will process the Next Scheduled Run date = 2021-08-29 11:00 AM.  CASE#2:  If the Next Scheduled Run date for the Autoloader is 2021-08-29 11:00 AM, but Autoloader or Gort was stuck at this time and service resumes at 2021-08-30 09:00 AM, the missed process will be run.
  • After each run, system will calculate the Next Scheduled Run for the process.
