=Adding the Add-in to Excel 2010=
Installing the [[SmartSimple]] [[Excel Add-In]] for Excel 2010 requires that the SSExcel.dll file is properly registered on your local machine.
1. Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
2. Right-click Command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
3. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
4. Type the following command at the command prompt, but reference the full path of the SSExcel.dll file on your local machine:

The first time you wish to use the [[Excel Add-In]], you need to input your [[SmartSimple]] [[Username|username]] and [[Password|password]].
If you have previously installed [[SmartDoc for Microsoft Word IntegrationOverview|SmartDoc for Microsoft Word]], then your [[User|user]] setting will already be established.

The [[User|user]] must have write access to this folder in order for the [[Excel Add-In]] to operate.
