Global System Upgrades

The new features listed below are enhancements to the SmartSimple system and will be immediately available to SmartSimple users upon the application of the upgrade to their server:


On-Demand System Upgrades

The following features are also available immediately with the application of the upgrade, but must first be enabled or configured by a System Administrator:


New Dynamic List View Filtering

This enhancement adds the following functionality to list views including adding the ability to set a list view for multiple roles, adding the ability to filter a list view based on UTA role, and adding the ability to filter list views based on system variables such as @userid@ and @companyid@


New Annotate Specific Application and Form Fields with Comments

This new features enables organizations who receive applications and forms to add field-level comments for applicants to review and revise.


Enhanced Stripe Integration

This enhancement furthers the integration with contemporary payments service, Stripe, and builds on the initial beta release in November.


New Arcadia X Layout Picker

The Arcadia X layout picker enables the point-and-click configuration of sections using pre-made templates and the choice of Arcadia X themes and backgrounds. All Arcadia X sections built using the layout picker are responsive.



New Privacy and Confidentiality Hyperlink Added to Login Pages by Default

Privacy is a shared responsibility. This enhancement places a visible privacy and confidentiality hyperlink on the top right corner of all login pages. This makes it easier for organizations to communicate their unique privacy and confidentially responsibilities to their users in a consistent manner.


Would Like to Lock Contact Record when in Edit Mode

This feature adds the record Lock function when modifying contacts and companies preventing two users from modifying the same record. Function can be turned on and off by going into Global Settings -> Organizations & Users -> Enable Record Lock (found under their corresponding section for companies/users)


Search field on the Reports page

This enhancement adds the ability to search for reports from within the Reports module.


Add date last modified to custom field list view

Global System Upgrades
Added the Last Modified Date field to custom field list views allowing users and support to see when fields were last changed.


Role Permission for Submit button

Global System Upgrades
Added role and UTA permission settings to Submit buttons. This enhancement makes managing Submit buttons easier and eliminates visibility conditions. If a Submit button is associated with both a role and UTA role, the UTA role will take precedence.


Assignment List View

Global System Upgrades
This feature adds the ability to assign many objects (example includes users, organizations, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) to many objects. Phase one of this enhancement (April 2016 Upgrade) will focus on attaching contacts to Level 1s.

This feature changes the way Dynamic Control fields are rendered.


View L2 Fields in L3 List View (Like L2 List Views)

Global System Upgrades
This feature allows level 2 fields to be listed within a level 3 list views in Arcadia X portals. Level 2 fields will also appear in Level 3 advanced searches.


UTA Packaging Phase 2 (SmartExchange)

SmartExchange is a multi-year platform enhancement endeavor aimed at creating a single data exchange structure that can be used to package Instance configurations, UTA configurations, and other data.


Platform password policy enhancement

Global System Upgrades
This feature adds an additional option to the password policy allowing for a user’s ID (in its entirety) cannot be a part of the password, or the whole password.


Provider / Consumer List View Filter

Global System Upgrades
This feature enhances standard list views with the ability to view a subset of consumers from a provider.


List View Parent and Child Advanced Search

This feature is an enhancement on the List View Parent and Child feature introduced in the January 2016 upgrade. With this enhancement Advanced Search functionality has been added to the following:
a) the organization connected to the L1
b) the branch connected to the L1
c) the external person connected to the L1
d) the internal person connected to the L1


Batch create Level one from Provider

This feature adds the ability to create level 1s based on based on a list of organizations attached to a level one or level two provider
